Scrum Master – Permanent – London - £42,000 Per Annum – Charitable Organisation

A wonderful nonprofit organisation is looking for a dedicated Scrum Master to join them on a permanent basis at their Head Office in London. InterQuest Group’s client are looking for a self-starting, energetic & dynamic professional that can work alongside a range of team members that work in both a permanent & contract capacity to drive forward key projects. As such, experience within Agile environments is essential, as is the ability work with a range of stakeholders in an effective manner.

The post holder will be responsible for owning the Scrum Team & Scrum Process, ensuring that projects are controlled & managed with key deliverables and the wider strategy in mind. The successful candidate will need to be able to demonstrate that they work well under pressure, are a team player and methodical in their approach.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Create a highly motivated environment within the Scrum Team
  • Facilitate daily stand-ups
  • Monitor team activity
  • Drive planning and the scheduling of releases
  • Ensure that goals and deliverables are set and managed
  • Plan retrospectives & build a culture of iterative improvement
  • Facilitate discussions, decision making & conflict resolution

Essential experience required:

  • A demonstrative understanding of the basic fundamentals of iterative development, including incremental delivery and the value of metrics
  • Good knowledge of software development processes & procedures
  • Solid background & understanding of Agile approaches (Kanban etc.)
  • Exemplary communication skills – ability to be fully transparent, honest & open
  • Technical ability to use JIRA, confluence, Adobe Experience Manager & Marketing Cloud
